New Years Eve and Eggs!

You might wonder what I was doing on New Years Eve. Well, I received a call from A.C., after they became aware of the fact that scrambled eggs was not included in the food that was ordered for the New Years Eve party, and everyone knows you cannot have a "smorgåsbord" without scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I volunteered to scramble eggs for 180 hungry youngsters. 216 to be exact.
Afterwards Odd Arne and I had a very relaxed evening at home alone.

The next week was of course - off to the sales. We met Eva and Ole in downtown Bergen and did some major shopping.

Of course, one trip into the city would never be enough. A.C., Marianna and I had several more trips into the city to make sure we covered every shopping center. Here we are on our way to the souvenir shops on the Water front in Bergen.

This is a picture of Marianna doing some big time "speed packing" the night before she was to be one her way back to the U.S.

Had to put in this picture of A.C. with the Bergens Tidende sign in the background.
Sunday we had to say farewell to both Lars and Marianna as they both returned to the U.S. Will miss them, but we will be over there in April for Lars' graduation!
God Bless!
