Celebrating a good friend

These little guys are making sure Odd Arne lights every candle, because the cake is for their mom who has a birthday today.

And here she is - mother of four, the youngest 3 boys born in four years, living in a "foreign" country, working out 3 times a week at SATS, always willing to help, bake, pick up, listen, and being a wonderful wife to the man on the photo. She is truly what I call a "Super Mom". In good ol' International Cell group tradition, we celebrated her at the upstairs cafeteria at Kristent Fellesskap. Happy Birthday girl! Luv ya!

Now this was supposed to be a picture of Odd Arne in action. Actually he is in action, that's why I didn't get him in the picture. He made a wonderful 40 liters of "Storm suppe" that was a big hit. This is in the downstairs cafeteria.

Last but not least here is little Celine, sitting securely on Daddy's lap eating her first "peep". Life is good!
God has given us a wonderful family - and there is room for many more family members!
God bless!

New Years Eve and Eggs!

You might wonder what I was doing on New Years Eve. Well, I received a call from A.C., after they became aware of the fact that scrambled eggs was not included in the food that was ordered for the New Years Eve party, and everyone knows you cannot have a "smorgåsbord" without scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. I volunteered to scramble eggs for 180 hungry youngsters. 216 to be exact.
Afterwards Odd Arne and I had a very relaxed evening at home alone.

The next week was of course - off to the sales. We met Eva and Ole in downtown Bergen and did some major shopping.

Of course, one trip into the city would never be enough. A.C., Marianna and I had several more trips into the city to make sure we covered every shopping center. Here we are on our way to the souvenir shops on the Water front in Bergen.

This is a picture of Marianna doing some big time "speed packing" the night before she was to be one her way back to the U.S.

Had to put in this picture of A.C. with the Bergens Tidende sign in the background.
Sunday we had to say farewell to both Lars and Marianna as they both returned to the U.S. Will miss them, but we will be over there in April for Lars' graduation!
God Bless!
